Please read the following information before ordering.

Please contact info@rarephiled.com with any queries before ordering.

How To Order

Unfortunately ordering is not as straightforward as I would like, so here's a run-through of how it works.

Once you have decided to purchase a title, enter the quantity you wish to purchase and press on the 'add to cart' button.  This is confirmed in a pop-up button giving details of the title added to the basket, press close to continue.

Repeat for any additional titles you wish to purchase.

When you've selected all the titles you require, select 'view basket'

Check the titles that have been added to your basket and once satisfied, click on 'pay now'.

You will now be taken to a checkout page for you to input your name and address - this page needs to be completed to continue, but you can enter garbage provided your name and address are provided through paypal.

Once completed, press 'submit' and you will be taken to the paypal payment page to log into paypal or to use paypal to pay by debit or credit card.

Any problems using the order system, please send an e-mail to info@rarephiled.com and we can send an invoice direct for the titles you wish to purchase.

SOURCE & QUALITY

As these are rare items and not available commercially, you will expect the quality to vary.

To assist you in making your choices, a rating has been provided (notes may also be added to advise you of other quality issues on individual titles). It's very difficult to rate titles objectively, but hopefully this information will be of assistance. Apologies in advance if you feel that a film does not meet the quality indicated. Please contact us if this is the case with a description of the problem/fault and we will do our best to rectify matters.

What you should expect from each grade -

Grade A -
Picture - Remastered Studio quality - faultless (needless to say we don't do these)
Sound - Faultless, no hisses or scratches

Grade B -
Picture - Quality in line with a direct copy from TV to DVD, clear picture, may be a few lines/scratches from original source
Sound - Should be clear throughout, may be minor hiss/crackle in background when silence on screen that does not affect dialogue

Grade C -
Picture - Quality in line with copy taken from TV to VHS, then transferred to DVD format. May be slightly fuzzy/lack clarity - like a soft lens effect
Sound - slight hiss/crackle may be heard throughout and get louder with loud noises/music on screen, but dialogue should be easily heard throughout

Grade D -
Picture - Picture may be slightly jerky or have more snow/fuzz than Grade C, but is still very watchable. This grade film often reflects either the age of the original Cinefilm source or the age of the VHS it has been stored on - therefore you should expect lines and scratches on the picture or quite a snowy effect - particularly with Cinefilm source picture may appear quite over-exposed
Sound - again this would reflect the age of the source and hiss/crackle may interfere with dialogue slightly

Grade E -
Picture - Bad quality, could be too snowy, jerky, over-exposed for enjoyable viewing without getting a headache - only for die-hard collectors or historic/personal interest
Sound - Poor sound - interferes with dialogue - too much so to recommend
